The original RUKI was designed as a toe-up sock, and the cuff-down ver. was added later. The stitch pattern on the side that looks like a cable is not crossing, so the fabric does not get thicker. It matches both wool sock yarn and summer sock yarn. You can enjoy the pattern through the seasons. Directions are written for the magic loop method with circular needles. The stitch patterns are charted only.

The pattern includes options of;
Direction: toe-up, cuff-down
Cuff: Twisted Broken Rib, 1×1 Half Twisted Rib
Toe (cuff-down ver.): Classic toe with Kitchener stitch, easy toe with no grafting

The cuff-down ver. can be found in “RUKI_cuffdown_EN.pdf” and the toe-up ver. in “RUKI_toeup_EN.pdf”.
