I love fingerless mitts. I used to think they must be pretty pointless, since fingertips are the bits that get coldest – now I realise that since they warm your pulse point (and hence send warm blood circulating through your hands and body), they’re remarkably effective. And of course on winter runs, when those of us in less than perfect shape are in danger of overheating, they’re just perfect.

With a super-stretchy stitch pattern and equally bouncy yarn, these snug mitts hug your hands beautifully, providing warmth without irritating even the most sensitive skin. And they’re so incredibly quick and easy to knit, you’ll want to make some for the whole family!
