ERRATA

There is a stitch in the chart that is missing from the stitch key in the knitting pattern. It is an increase worked in row 6 only (e. g. stitch 5). Work it as follows: From the back, lift the horizontal strand between stitches with the left-hand needle and purl through the front loop.
Thanks to sbasore for spotting this. Actually, this should not have happened in the first place, as the stitch key is created automatically by the software. I am sorry about that.

In der Legende der Chartmaschen des Strickmusters fehlt die Erklärung zu einer Masche. Es ist eine Zunahme, die nur in Reihe 6 gearbeitet wird (z. B. die 5. Masche. Arbeiten Sie diese Masche wie folgt: Heben Sie mit der linken Nadel von hinten den Querfaden an und stricken Sie die Masche durch das vordere Maschenglied links ab.
Eigentlich hätte das überhaupt nicht passieren dürfen, weil die Maschenlegende automatisch durch die benutzte Software erstellt wird. Tut mir leid.

The Magic Wrap – 12 Ways to Wear

This one is fun really and I am sure I have not even found all ways this can be worn. The wrap is worked as a rectangle in one piece with slight shaping and buttons attached in a way that you can almost attach any edge to any other edge area.
What I have come up with to wear it so far is as a: cape, bolero, scarf, poncho, short shirt, cowl, hooded cowl, tube shirt, short-sleeved sweater, shrug, sash and simple wrap. As I am writing I realize I have never even tried a skirt or something similar. Can you find additional ways to wear it?

The pattern consists of cables, seed stitch, black berry stitch and ornamental edges with and without button holes. Using one thread of DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk and one Kid-Silk makes this garment stretchy and super soft and cuddly. The pictures were taken on different days, so the change of light had an influence on color appearance. The pictures with the hooded versions and the tube shirt most accurately reflect the true color (just a little bit more to the grey side than in the other pictures).

Finished Measurements & Sizes

• 56“/142 cm long

• 11.8“/30 cm (center) to 17.7“/45 cm wide (ends → i. e. flared sleeves of the bolero)

This is a one-size pattern about for S/M (slightly adjustable by blocking), but I have included instructions to make this piece fit you no matter which length and width you wish for. These include adding stitches and rows as you would regularly do, but also other methods such as selecting another yarn (or adding one more thread of the DROPS Alpaca) for a different gauge (including a sample calculation).

• Yarn 1: DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk (5 balls = 9 oz / 250 g = 915 yd / 835 m)
• Yarn 2: DROPS Kid-Silk (4 balls = 3.6 oz / 100 g = 876 yd / 800 m)
• US 7 / 4,5mm regular or circular needles
• 22 or more buttons (diameter = ~0.47-0.55“ / ~1.2-1.4 cm; here: 0.55“ / 1.4 cm)

Der Zauberumhang – auf 12 Arten zu tragen

Dieses Stück macht wirklich Spaß, und ich bin sicher, ich habe noch nicht einmal alle Tragemöglichkeiten gefunden. Der Umhang wird als Rechteck an einem Stück mit leichter Formgebung gestrickt, an dem Knöpfe so angebracht werden, dass man fast jeden Rand an jedes andere Stück Rand knöpfen kann.
Bisher habe ich folgende Arten gefunden, ihn zu tragen: als Umhang, Bolero, Schal, Poncho, Kurzshirt, Kurzarmpullover, Schultertuch, Kragenschal, Kapuzenschal, Schlauchshirt, Wickelstola und Schärpe. Und während ich schreibe, fällt mir ein, dass ich noch nicht geschaut habe, was man rocktechnisch daraus machen kann. Finden Sie weitere Arten, das Stück zu tragen?

Gearbeitet werden Zopfmuster, Perlmuster, Brombeermuster und Zierränder mit und ohne Knopflöcher. Wenn man einen Faden Baby Alpaca Silk und einen Kid-Silk verwendet, wird das Strickstück sehr flexibel, supersoft und kuschelweich. Die Fotos wurden an zwei Tagen gemacht, weshalb das unterschiedliche Licht einen Einfluss auf die Farberscheinung hatte. Die Fotos mit dem Kapuzenschal und dem Schlaushirt reflektieren die Farbe am besten, denn sie ist etwas grauer als auf den übrigen Bildern.

Die Strickmusterdateien beinhalten

• Charts mit den Musterrapporten (inkl. die kompletten ersten und letzten jeweils 71 Reihen) und

Was Sie lernen werden (falls Sie damit noch keine Erfahrung haben)

• die verschiedenen Strickmuster und Motive natürlich und

• wie man an allen vier Rändern eine hübsche Kante mit (fast) dem gleichen Strickmuster arbeitet, die man sowohl als Knopfloch als auch als Stelle zum Knopf-Annähen verwenden kann. Ansonsten ist das Stück einfach zu stricken.

• 30 cm (Mitte) bis 45 cm breit (Enden, z.B. ausgestellte Ärmel im Bolero)

Dies ist ein Stück, das in einer Einheitsgröße etwa für S/M gestrickt wurde (etwas justierbar durchs Blocken), aber ich habe im Muster auch eine Anleitung beigefügt, wie man es einfach in jeder Größe fertigen kann. Die Hinweise beinhalten das normale Umrechnen und Zufügen von Reihen und Maschen, aber auch andere Methoden wie z. B. eine andere Garnauswahl (oder z. B. noch einen Faden DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk hinzuzufügen), um auf eine andere Maschenprobe zu kommen (inkl. Rechenbeispiel).
