Runrig hat and glove design has been inspired
by the colours and textures of tweed fabrics. The
stitch patterns used include zigzag and
houndstooth motifs, which are often used in
tweeds woven in the Scottish Highlands and
Islands. The pattern includes step by step
instructions for knitting the glove fingers and the
crown shaping for the hat. Both the gloves and the
hat come in two colourways and in two sizes to fit
women and men. The hat can be blocked into
either a beret or a beanie shape.
