Do you have a set of mini skeins languishing for lack of the perfect project? Do you have so much yarn that you could make your own mini skein sets for days? Then Russell Street is the shawl for you!

Yarn: 985-1050 yards fingering weight yarn

  • Main Color (MC): Approximately 500-525 yards fingering weight yarn
  • Minis (MN): 21 minis approximately 23-25 yards each* or equivalent of 485-525 yards fingering weight yarn

The Russell Street sample was knit using 21 different minis from the Downton Abbey mini set by Canon Hand Dyes on William Fingering Yarn. The main color section was knit with 500-525 yards of The Plucky Knitter Feet in Elegant Elephant.

If your minis are smaller, no problem! This pattern is easily adjusted to use minis with less yardage and instructions are included for this modification. The pattern also features easy instructions for creating your own minis set!

Needle: Size 4 | 3 mm
