Did you ever want to create knitted jewelry? Then this might be the right project for you. With this pattern you will get patterns for two pieces of fine knitted jewelry: a ring and a bracelet!

With Habu Textiles silk and stainless steel you can create a stunning and unique ring. For this project you need to utilize a pretty little stitch, which produces a nice compact but soft fabric in sock yarn. In Habu silk and stainless steel it looks lacy like silk and will have the glamour of stainless steel.

If you haven’t knit with Habu silk and stainless steel before, it is recommended to try the bracelet made with a soft sock yarn first. That way you can familiarize yourself with the stitch, before you familiarize yourself with this delicate Habu yarn. This could be a great scrap project, because you will need less that 5 grams of sock yarn for a bracelet.

The name of the pattern is due to the fact that I used a rust colored yarn for the prototype, which makes for a nice juxtaposition to the stainless steel material.
