This cuff is knit with a combination of Habu Textiles silk and stainless steel and a variegated merino yarn held together. You will be amazed by the stunning effect of these yarns when brought together with a simple knit and purl pattern.

The result will be a cool unisex wristband, which combines the solid feel of the sock yarn with the airy and precious look of Habu. This project will also give you a chance to choose some beautiful buttons to go with your wristband.

Skills needed for this project are basic knitting skills (cast on, knit, purl, bind off, worked flat). Button holes are crocheted, but that feature is optional. The wristband will have so much ease, that it may also be sewed together, in which case the buttons would be sewed on to hide the seam.

This project is suitable for beginners who want to discover the vast diversity of yarns. And it makes for a great Christmas present, too.
