This heart-shaped shawl is named in memory of my mother, Ruth White, whose maiden name was Ruth Elisabeth Ruggles. It is created by using a typical triangular shawl construction, with a feminine lace edging knitted directly onto the main body of the shawl. The suggested materials created the shawl in the photo, however the pattern is designed to be knit with any weight/gauge of yarn and any needle size to whatever measurements you desire. The pattern includes row-by-row written instructions as well as charts.

ERRATA - I am posting an updated download as of 2/7/14, Thank you to those of you who kindly notified me of the Errata in the written instructions of rows 39 and 41.

Please message me directly on Ravelry if you have any questions. I hope that you enjoy knitting this shawl as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
