All of the fun of Fair Isle, none of the fuss! This mosaic patterned cowl never uses more than one colour at a time and achieves its looks by utilising slipped stitches.

Choose high contrast for fun, or complimentary colours for a more subtle look. Match with a favourite coat or pick a sporting team’s colours for cheering them on in the cold!

This pattern contains both charted and written instructions for the mosaic pattern.

Substitutions:
Any multiple-plied 4ply/fingering weight smooth wool yarn. Err on the side of a thicker yarn or, if using a thinner yarn, try working another repeat.
MC (grey) used 40g and CC (pink) used 20g of yarn, so this could be a great stashbusting project.

Sizing:
Cowl can easily be made larger or smaller by adding or subtracting repeats.
