The ideal accessory for you next trip to the zoo! You are sure to be noticed in these bright, fun hats. These earflap hats are made with Loops & Threads Charisma, but any bulky weight yarn may be substituted. Charisma is quite a fuzzy yarn, so it does require a bit of grooming, but I chose it for it’s vibrant, crisp colors and soft texture. The earflaps are knit first and then joined with the CO row of the body, which can be knit on either straight needles or circular needles. The facial features are knit separately and sewn on using mattress stitch for near invisible seams. Take your time adding the facial features, as they are what really add expression to these hats! I hope you enjoy!
