YARN: 750 (795, 855, 900, 975, 1025, 1095)(1150, 1250, 1310, 1375, 1435, 1515) yds DK weight cotton or cotton blend.
Shown in Cascade Yarns “Hampton” (70% Pima Cotton, 30% Linen: 273 yds/100 g) - Pastel Lilac #24.
3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4)(5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins.

NEEDLES: U.S. size 5 (3.75mm) 32” (80cm) or longer circular needle.
U.S. size 5 (3.75mm)16” (40cm) circular needle.
Circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge.

OTHER: Stitch holders, waste yarn or spare needles, removable stitch markers, tapestry needle.

GAUGE: 24½ sts/30½ rows = 4” in Foliage Stitch, blocked, slightly stretched.
22 sts/35 rows = 4” in Garter Ridge, blocked.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Techniques include cable cast on, 3-needle bind off, and picking up stitches.

CONSTRUCTION: The center front and back are knit separately from the bottom up. Stitches are bound off to shape the front neckline and shoulders are joined with 3-needle bind off. Stitches are picked up along the edges of the joined front and back for the side panels, with stitches cast on for the splits at the hem. Side seams are joined with 3-needle bind off. Stitches are picked up for the reverse stockinette trim at the neckline.
