This is a rectangular version of the triangular Sagittaria Shawl pattern.

You can knit this stole from virtually any yarn: the thinner the yarn the lighter the shawl and the smaller the pattern and vice versa. Choosing a bulkier yarn and casting on fewer stitches makes this a very quick knitting project resulting in a big pattern lace scarf to wrap around your neck.

This is also a great one skein project: the method of knitting the other end of the stole first gives you a chance to make the most out of your yarn!
