This pattern was originally made for a youth camp, where in 1.5 hours I want to teach the ‘kids’ how to knit and be advanced enough in the project so they can finish it later by themselves.

It is very easy, beginner’s level, very fast to knit, and very comfy to wear.
Oh - making it is highly addictive.

The pattern includes very detailed instructions for the basic hat, instructions for hat with a fold, and suggestions for child, baby and summer hats with the same pattern.
Instructions included for the easy scarf - in case you need one :).

Need to know: cast on, bind off and knit.

Learn: very simple short row technique.

Knit time: about 3 hours.

Needles: # 13 US / 9mm.

Yarn: 2 medium weight/worsted (knit together as one yarn)
approx. 70 yards/65m each.
Or one bulky, 60-70 yards.

Gauge is not crucial, 10sts=4”/10cm

This hat is perfect for:
beginners,
knitting for charity,
Xmas knitting (if you want to knit for EVERYBODY you know),
and anytime you want an easy fast project, and a warm comfy hat.
