A pretty, lightweight scarf perfect for spring and autumn, with a lacy design reminiscent of sailboats on waves. This is a really easy but effective pattern, using knit and purl stitches, yarn forward and knit 2 together. The instructions are written in full - no complicated charts to follow.

You will need 150g of cotton merino yarn (I used Drops - the nature of the pattern means you must use a yarn that responds well to wet blocking - not acrylic), 4 mm needles and a tapestry needle to weave in the ends of the yarn.
