From the description on Patternfish:

“Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2007 film ‘Saawariya’ (’Beloved’) is the story of Ranbir Raj, who is in love with the sad and mysterious Sakina,” explains Matthews. “The film is a cinematic vision in blue and teal, and this cuff is inspired by one of Sakina’s saris.” The designer is a huge fan of Hindi cinema (“Bollywood”); she draws inspiration for the colours and motifs of her knitted beaded cuffs from the movies she loves. This is a wonderful place to begin beaded knitting. The design is simple and lovely, appropriate anywhere, and the pattern is very clear and easy to read.
