This ribbed hat has a bold starburst pattern at the crown, adding a little hidden drama to an easy, fun-to-knit pattern. Sakura comes in four sizes – Toddler, Child, Woman, Man – and is a great introduction to basic cable knitting

ERRATA:
Row 3 of decreases should read as follows: P1, 1/1LPC, K2, P2, K2, K2tog

this has been corrected for future patterns purchased - sorry for any confusion!

Regarding the section marked “Next Row”:
This section actually acounts for TWO rows of knitting. The first part takes you to one stitch before the last stitch of the row, so that the second part may be offset by one stitch, thus creating the crisp points at the edge of the starburst/petal pattern that the decreases make. Though it may be confusing, if you do it exactly as the instructions are written, i promise you will have success!
