Salvation Jane will keep your neck and shoulders warm either worn under or over your sweater, jacket or coat.

Worked from the top-down in the round, the lace pattern is easy to work and suitable as a first lace project. All the shaping is integrated within the lace pattern, there are no separate shaping instructions to follow. The length of both the neck and shoulder sections can be easily customised to suit the wearer.

Stitch gauge of 14 stitches per inch will give a neck section of 18 inches / 45cm circumference, giving plenty of ease for the average womens neck. Row gauge is not critical, the samples worked have different row gauges, which influences the final length, however fewer or more rounds can be worked to adjust to the wearer’s preferences.
