This unisex toque uses short rows to highlight the variegation of Pacino, a deliciously soft wool ribbon yarn from Artfibers. The band uses more short rows for a headband-like effect that won’t bunch at the nape. A great quick-knit gift!

Materials:

Artfibers Pacino 85% extrafine merino wool, 15% nylon; 76yd/69m per 50g; color: 3; 100 yds/91m (this yarn is sold by the yard, not the skein)

2 US #8/5mm circular needles, any length, or size needed to
obtain gauge
16-inch US #7/4.5mm circular needle
Set of US #8/5mm double-point needles

Waste yarn (optional)

p.s. “Samui” (さむい) means “cold” in Japanese!
