A patchwork blanket with a sampler effect, with stitch patterns used in traditional ganseys that inspired the designs within Yorkshire Shores.

The blanket is knitted in 4 strips. There are 3 long seams but no complicated piecing together to complete.

Yarn requirements

We used 2 skeins each of three colours of Dovestone dk: Rhubarb, Viking and Bishopthorpe. You could use a single colour, or as many colours as you like.

Needles

4mm/US 6 straight needles.
You will also need a cable needle.

All stitch pattern charts are also provided as written instructions. A colour diagram is provided to aid construction and assembly.
