You achieve this look by yos, garter and stockinette stitch. The pattern is slightly ribbed and looks good on both sides. This is no Shawl for beginners, you have to concentrate in RS and WS rows. Instructions (written and charted) are given for a scarf with 25 x 200 cm and a stole with 50 x 200 cm. You can easily change the measurements by adding a repeat of 8 stitches and / or working 12 more rows.
