Sanibel Reversible Baby Blanket - a shell bordered blanket with a garter stitch center is reminiscent of sea shells on the beach; a timeless heirloom design. The shell motif border has a scalloped edge on all four sides. The border is built into the design.

Model: Cascade 220 Superwash Sport, 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 136 Yards, 50 grams
Used 7.5 hanks or (376.5 grams)
Needle size: US. #6, 40” circular, if knitting 2 at a time or 32” if knitting one at a time
Gauge 22.8 sts = 4 inch on U.S. #6 in shell pattern, unblocked. See note below*
Barrel Style Row Counter, Stitch markers (use 2 different colors if knitting 2 at a time)

Gauge is important to determine width of blanket. Any yarn weight can be used, adjust pattern in increments of 20 stitches to achieve desired width, adjusting needle size accordingly.
