This pattern is rated as easy. Worked from the top down in the round, this stocking uses basic sock-knitting techniques, including heel flap, gusset shaping, and grafted toe. Patches are knit separately, embroidered using duplicate stitch, and sewn in place.

Sample was knitted on 3 mm double-point needles, using part balls of sport-weight acrylic yarn, but can be made with any type of yarn of similar weight. The pattern was written to use up odd part-balls of yarn from stash.

Instructions for knitting are in written form, charts are provided for the patch motifs, as well as letter and number charts to personalize your stocking.
