Knit from the top down, Sanur has enough lace work to keep an expert interested while still being the perfect beginner’s lace shawl.

The pattern includes two finished sizes: 37 x 80” for a full-size shawl and 23 x 47” for a smaller shawlette. The larger size requires approximately 500 yds of yarn; the smaller one requires just 375 yds.

The lower edge can be blocked to have scallops or to be straight. Knitter’s choice!
