Sapling is a fun hat with feature leaf earflaps and icord ties; it is knitted from the top down and has optional stripes and a pompom to finish it. It works up quickly in DK or Worsted yarn.
The pattern is written for worsted gauge but is suitable to be knit in either yarn weight. There are eight sizes, from Newborn through to Large Adult.

Sapling was designed for the Meraki Studio NZ Autumn Yarn Club and is the first bonus pattern.
