Sapphire blues and sparkle – such a lovely reminder of the beauty of the sea. This lovely shawl is knitted in the same way as an asymmetrical shawl, but the end result is virtually a triangle, with the increase edge running along the top. Optional tassels included, with photos to help with making them.

An easy knit for the confident beginner and yet interesting enough for the experienced knitter who likes to knit and natter. Yarn recommendations are given, but any double knit yarn should be okay.

This shawl could be an extra layer, worn as a scarf over the top of a Winter coat. Or it could also be worn as a cosy wrap on a cool summer’s eve. Even suitable for men, but without the sparkle or tassels!

Measurements, (excluding tassels);

Width – approx. 152cm/60in
Depth (from centre neck down to point) – approx. 76cm/30in
