My Haaksteek team and I have worked on this blanket for many, many months. I would be nothing without the help of my wonderful Haaksteek sisters, who worked so hard and have spend their time, energy, yarn, money and love into this project to make it to its best for all of you.

Their names, in no particular order: Hester du Plessis, Audrey Muller, Maja Volf, Marita Kristensen, Mirjam Annaars, Caroline Tigchelaar, Esther van Holland, Dionne van Ginneken-Mol, Brenda Krause, Carol Gabbert, Johanna Salo, Kristina Kantanen, Arja Seppäläinen, Johanne Rousseau, Marie-José Lamontagne, Katherine Martinet, Heidrun Liegmann, Renate Schattschneider, Silke Karp, Sabrina Milani, Debora Fior, Lynda Hernandez, Elizabeth Pintado-Díaz, Julia Pazols, Rubia Khawaja, Gul Ammar
and last but not least: our outstanding expert Tania Leis, who makes a left- and righthanded video for every part.
Thank you all so much, my dear sisters!

It is a challenging pattern, which requires concentration and accurate reading of the descriptions. However, the descriptions are very detailed, with lots of pictures. I am pretty sure that an advanced beginner will be able to crochet it, but an advanced crocheter sure won’t get bored!

The choice of the name of this CAL, ‘Sarah, A New Beginning’ has everything to do with my precious daughter Sarah. You can read the whole story about her ‘New Beginning’ in the Introduction in my webside.
Her new start, but also other ‘new beginnings’, in my own life as well as in general, were in my mind while I designed this blanket. My musings can be read in the Introduction.

I dedicate the blanket ‘Sarah’ to the real Sarah, my daughter.

My dear crochet friend Angelstarknit again offered to host this new CAL here on Ravelry in her wonderful group https://www.ravelry.com/groups/colourful-cals-kals--proje...
