The construction of the shawl *Sarana* resembles a Faroese shawl, with a rectangular gusset down the middle of the back, flanked by two “wings”.

The shawl is worked from the neckline downwards, with a beautiful all-over lace pattern and a small edging.

The pattern is charted.

This pattern was first published in our *Japanese Lace* Club, a collection of 24 patterns, ranging from accessories to garments.

Das Tuch *Sarana* hat eine spezielle Form, die an Färörertücher erinnert: ein Rechteck in der Mitte wird von zwei seitlichen Flügeln flankiert. Das lacige Grundmuster endet in einer kleinen Spitze.
