This irregular open lace reminds me of seaweed floating atop the ocean waves. The scarf is light enough for that essential spring accessory. The optional beads give it a bit of sparkle. Knit from a single skein of fingering weight yarn, this project is a perfect stash buster. The intermediate level lace stitch has a short pattern repeat but it is still challenging – not a pattern you can snooze on. Wrong side rows are mostly purled. Pattern includes written and charted instructions.
