Light, airy, openwork lace makes up the body to this shawl/shrug. The directional lace is worked inward from the edging to the center of the back in two pieces, then grafted together. The soft lace drapes over the shoulders, allowing the long fronts to be left hanging loosely at the sides or pulled back up over the opposite shoulders, creating a crisscross effect over the bust.
