Lauren’s beautiful resin purse handles can be purchased from the LaBeana Bags Etsy shop.

This bag is worked as 2 main panels. The curved bottoms of the main panels are sewn together, and then stitches are picked up around the straight sides to make the gussets. The stitch is worked at a very tight gauge to make the bag sturdy.

The purse itself can be knit by a beginner, but the blocking and seaming may require more advanced skills; you will be using mattress stitch to graft a curved bind-off edge to another curved bind-off edge and both pieces are patterned.
