Saw Tooth Lace Mittens

Lace Trimmed Hats and Mittens
Knitting
December 2012
Aran / 10 ply (8 wpi) ?
14 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch
US 9 - 5.5 mm
100 - 150 yards (91 - 137 m)
child, teen, adult

The lace cuff is knitted first, then stitches for the garter stitch hand are picked up from the straight edge.

The mittens are very stretchy and the hand and thumb lengths can be easily adjusted.

The circumference of the three sizes is 5 (7.5, 9)” and they will stretch a further inch or two.

The pattern will work with any aran yarn, but you must check your tension first.

The photos show the child size.
