From the pattern…

As a child I got called a scamp rather often. I grew up thinking the word was all mischief and merriment, youthful enthusiasm, and harmless good-natured fun. As an adult I came to learn scamp was actually an old word for a young thief and I grew to appreciate how the word evolved from its less than aboveboard origins.

Scamp started its life as Codrington Cuffs. It is a low yardage pattern great for using up odds and ends.

I list this easy to work pattern as medium skill level due to the required crochet skills.

While every effort has been made to ensure a pattern free of errors, this version of the pattern has been offered free of charge while the paid version is in testing.
