The Scandinavian style is on trend this season, featuring heavily on the catwalks so, when you need to stand out on the ski slopes, this traditional style is a great solution. The hat is worked flat, with a stranded colourwork pattern which you will work from the charts. If you decide to work this on double pointed needles in the round, you won’t need the extra sts at each side added for the seam so remember to take off 2 sts on each piece.

This issue is on sale from 10th December in supermarkets, newsagents and craft stores across the UK and on our website. It will also be available digitally via our apps for Apple and Android devices and through Pocketmags here.
