The Scarab Beetle Cowl features fun, colorwork scarab beetle motifs in the center surrounded by a striped border. The scarab beetles alternate direction, so both the cowl is always “right side up”! Some scarab beetles have a shiny, metallic appearance, some have fancy stripes and colors, and some are more subdued. If you’ve ever seen a “dung beetle”, “june bug”, or “Hercules beetle” you’ve seen a scarab!
