A 23 page instant download of instructions and photos to create this charming Scarecrow. He is fun to crochet and becomes a whimsical wall hanging. He could also be used as an applique on a quilt, or as a festive fall decoration. He’s crafted with worsted weight yarn in happy autumn colors and is a great accent for Halloween or Thanksgiving. Make one for yourself and several as gifts.

The Scarecrow measures just over 24” tall from top of hat to bottom of feet, 6.5” across the body, and a little over 19” across the outstretched arms.

Instructions are included for making a wall hanging by attaching dowels. (If you want a simpler way to hang him, you’ll get a different look but you could use pipe cleaners to keep his arms and head stiff.)

The pattern includes many different crochet techniques and is probably best suited for someone with some crochet experience, especially in changing color.
