Inspired by the scarecrow in the wizard of oz. This pattern is made using hand dyed yarn in shades of yellow brown and bits of purple. Any dk weight superwash yarn is suitable for a replacement. This pattern yeses basket we’ve texture stitches as well as back post single crochet. Sized for adults finished item measurements below. This pattern uses a double crochet post rib stitch so the band is quite elastic.

Back post single crochets into double crochets from the round before. 5 bpsc = 1inch
