Scarf Bargello.

Bargello is a type of needlepoint embroidery consisting of upright flat stitches laid in a mathematical pattern to create motifs. The name originates from a series of chairs found in the Bargello palace in Florence, which have a “flame stitch” pattern. Traditionally, Bargello was stitched in wool on canvas. This scarf is knitted with i-cords and short rows to resemble Bargello needlepoint work.The colorwork looks a lot more complicated than it actually is! Once you have understood how it works, it will be easy.

Abbreviations:
BO = bind off
CO = cast on
k = knit
k2tog= knit two (2) stitches together
p = purl
RN= right needle
LN= left needle
RS = right side
sl1k = slip a stitch knit-wise
st(s) = stitch (es)
tbl = through back loop
w&t = wrap and turn
WS = wrong side
wyib = with yarn in back.
w/o = without
yo = yarn over

Yarn:
A: Yarn Semenovskaya Lidiya quarto (bordeaux (13) – 80g (400m/100g)
B: Yarn Semenovskaya Lidiya quarto: 30g of each color - bordeaux (13), cranberry (51), aster (70220), cream (671), sagebrush (67), feather grass (1042), pistachio (10), linden (345) – 240g (400m/100g). I added a little dyeing yarn.

Size: wide – 28 cm. / long - 180 cm. (or optional)

Gauge: 25sts and 30 rows = 10 cm ? 10 cm

Needles: 2,5mm.
