A simple and versatile first knitting project aimed at complete beginners. Knitted purely in garter stitch (knit one row, repeat).
A multi-purpose scarf, with arm holes so that it can be used as a wrap whilst nursing and a baby blanket if you are caught out on a chilly evening (pushchair/ car seat harness may be fed through the ‘armholes’.
As scarf has no wrong/right side, ensure to change to a new ball of wool at beginning of a row and weave in to avoid visible ends.

The super-sized scarf looks great in any colour to match your wardrobe, nursery, pushchair and/or car seat.
Looks good in stripes too. More experienced knitters may want to add a frill to the ends.

It comes in 2 size small/medium to fit UK size 10/12 and medium/large to fit Uk size 14/16.

Knitted in a chunky/bulky wool its quick to knit up on size 6mm (UK) size 10 (US).

Requires 450g of wool or 680 - 720 yards.
