This garment is the ‘skinny’ sister to SCARPA : inspired by the exquisite Japanese-style circular picture windows in Carlo Scarpa’s architecture.

This garment uses the lovely twisted neckline detail to elegantly frame the face and decolletage, the elbow length sleeves lend practicality whilst grafting to the sides of the body provides a seamless aesthetic.

This is knit side to side, from the left elbow (sleeves knit in the round) across the body in a single piece to the right elbow. Incorporated I-cord edges the waist with small hems to trim the sleeves to complete the design.

Yarns: the model shown is knit using Malabrigo Lace ‘Polar Morn’. Alternative Yarn Suggestions with required meterage noted in pattern.
