Schulz is a gender-neutral pullover worked seamlessly from the top down with set-in sleeves that are worked simultaneously with the body to the underarm, then finished separately. The mosaic pattern on the body and sleeves is worked using slipped stitches to tie together two complementary colors or shades of yarn. The body is worked straight from underarms to hem and the shoulders are shaped with short rows.

There is some positive ease--the body circumference of the finished pullover is 40/42.5/45/48 inches or 96/108/114/122 cm.
Finished shoulder widths are 15.5/17/18/19 inches or 39/43/45/48 cm.

You will need about 1100/1200/1300/1500 yards or 1006/1098/1189/1377 meters of worsted-weight yarn, 700/750/800/950 yards or 640/686/732/869 meters in the main color and 400/450/500/550 yards or 366/412/457/503 meters in the contrasting color.

You’ll also need long and short circular needles in the correct sizes for the body, sleeves and ribbing, 4 stitch markers and two stitch holders. (Double-pointed needles may be used for the sleeves and ribbing if desired.)

Skills needed are: knit and purl stitches, provisional caston, slipped stitches, M1 increases, and short rows. Charts are provided for the mosaic patterns.
