A practical knit that uses up all your scrappy yarn bits.

While the bulk of this project is knitted in easy linen stitch, there are a few unusual design elements to add interest. It is a fun project to use up all your hand painted sock wool remnants.

The Medium Case
holds 12 hooks 2mm-8mm
scraps 50g 1.8oz Nurturing Fibres Supertwist sock
maincolour 10g 0.4oz Nurturing Fibres Supertwist sock

The Large Case
holds 19 hooks
Scraps 80g 2.8oz Nurturing Fibres Supertwist sock
16g 0.6oz Nurturing Fibres Supertwist sock

I designed this project as part of the 2012 design swap on the South African swap group. I was delighted to be given Nikxi as my swap partner, she is so dear to me. I wanted to give her a case that would last through years of wear and tear and was textured.

I am delighted with this pattern and Nikxi thought it was wonderful. :)

Happy knitting!
