These socks are designed to use up the part balls of sock yarn left over from other projects. I make them quickly with what I call a base yarn of 4ply sock yarn and then a second strand of 4ply scrap sock yarn for the stripes. They create a thick and quick sock that is hard wearing. The size given fits a mans foot - size 11+
