No cable needles. As a matter of fact, there is no cabling at all involved in creating the ornaments that decorate the Scrawled Wrap. Nor do you have to do intarsia or stranded knitting for colorwork. The flowers and scrolls are made using an applied i-cord technique called “scrawling”. It allows you to trace all kinds of shapes on knitted fabric following the outlines or “tracks” made with purl stitches. Use any kind of yarn in as many colors as you like and scrawl away.
