With a modern geometic design, this cowl is surprisingly easy to knit, and is even suitable for confident beginners.
This striking cowl is super soft and squishy to snuggle into.

Yarn and Materials –
 200g ‘Cloud Forest Yarns’ Aran weight yarn or similar, 100g each of two colours.
Samples use Cloud Forest Yarns in ‘Orchid’ and ‘Deep Orchid’.
 6mm (US 10) and 5mm (US 8) circular needles on 60cm (24”) cable.
 Yarn needle to sew in ends.

Abbreviations –
St/Sts – Stitch / Stitches.
RS / WS – right side / wrong side.
K1 – Knit one stitch.
P1 – Purl one stitch.
S1 – Slip 1 stitch from the left needle to the right needle as if to purl.
M – Marker.
C1 / C2 – Colour 1, Colour 2.

  • Pattern note – to increase/decrease circumference of cowl increase/decrease number of cast on stitches in increments of 10.
