Errata: The pattern was updated in wording for increases.

The Sea Breeze Summer Shawl is a light weight, cool and comfortable small shawl. It’s knitted loosely and the fringe flows so nicely.

The pattern is written as if we were sitting together knitting this shawl. Links are included and there are written helps a long the way.

Like many shawls out there, this shawl really pops once you add the finishing touch. The fringe. I cut pieces 18” and then used two to make the fringe. The fact that they are spaced apart, gives the shawl the effect of a wonderful summer sea breeze.

I really love this yarn, it got softer and easier to work with the more I knitted with it. The pattern uses about 1 1/2 hanks. From what I’ve been told it knits up in about 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

Because of its size it can be worn several ways so get creative and I hope you enjoy the shawl.
