This is a small seaside half-hexish shawl using Sea Drift stitch (a made-up mutation of Old Shale) for the top, and a Neptunian Trident Mesh for the border. It’s short, because who needs an afghan around her shoulders in the summer? A variegated or self-striping yarn will accentuate the ripples of the Sea Drift stitch, which has double yarnovers and double decreases for a bubblier effect. Double yarnovers are worked on wrong side as follows: purl first loop, knit into back of second loop.
Print with a horizontal page set up.
