Sea level is a shawl knit from the top down entirely in knit stitches, there is no purling! It features a simple body with striping using just one ball of fingering weight yarn. The trick is to find a yarn that changes colour gradually and knit with the inside and outside of the balls. The shawl is finished with a sweet lace edging for a great everyday wear shawl.
The sample is knit in a yarn handspun from a Loop Bullseye Batt, but any colour changing yarn (or two different colours of yarn) can be used.
