SEA OF LOVE est une couverture au crochet à réaliser dans un gros fil laine et acrylique. Son nom m’a été inspiré par la couleur du fil que j’ai choisi pour réaliser le prototype et développer le design, un beau bleu vert océan lumineux.
J’avais envie d’une couverture très compacte et graphique au design moderne. J’ai donc inventé un nouveau modèle de carré au crochet en Brides très compact que j’ai attaché entre eux par des brides pour obtenir une jolie jonction aérée et régulière en forme d’échelle qui donne de la souplesse à cette couverture et achève de lui donner du style.
Le bordure est également réalisée en bride et a la forme d’une échelle et complète harmonieusement la couverture SEA OF LOVE.

Le prototype est crocheté en CANADA de LAMMY YARNS (40 % laine + 60% acrylique) mais vous pouvez choisir un autre fil de la même taille chez votre fournisseur habituel.

Le modèle est disponible sous forme d’un document PDF incluant les explications écrites en français et en anglais, des photos, des graphiques bilingues et une légende en allemand, italien, espagnole et néerlandais.

SEA OF LOVE is a blanket crocheted with a big yarn acryl and wool. His name was inspired to me from the color of the yarn I selected to crochet the prototype, a beautiful warm ocean blue with a point of green light.
I wanted a warm blanket , graphic with a modern design. Then I invented a new square pattern using Double Crochet and used Double Crochet to get a nice junction between the squares looking like a scale.
The edging is made with Double Crochet too and Chain and look like a scale too.

The prototype is crocheted with CANADA from LAMMY YARNS (40% wool + 60% acrylic) but you can select an another yarn with a similar weight in your favorit shop.

The pattern is available as a Ravelry instant download. You will get a PDF document including explanations in english and french, charts in english and french, pictures and a legend in German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch.
