Sea Turtles are on the Endangered species list. The Sea Turtle is also known as the green turtle. This is because of the layer of green fat underneath the turtles shell. Most turtles are dark brown to olive and are either a single color, spotted, marbled, or with varigated rays. Adult turtles can grow up to 5 feet long and usually weigh about 200 kgs (440 lbs.)

Sea turtles spend almost all their lives submerged in water but must surface to breathe air. They usually dive for about 4 to 5 minutes and surface to breathe for 1 to 3 seconds. Sea turtles are found in subtropical and tropical oceans worldwide.
