The Stitch Anatomy lesson for the Summer issue is elongated stitches. This shawl uses that stitch. It is very long and can be worn in a variety of ways. It makes a nice shawl in the summer for over air conditioned spaces and a warm scarf in the winter. The linen component of the fiber shows off the stitch pattern.
